Ballet School

The Lisa Jane School of Dance belongs to the Royal Academy of Dance, an organisation which has just celebrated its centenary. Accepted as the most respected governing body in ballet, the organisation offers children of all ages and abilities to learn ballet through an all-encompassing dance programme.

At Lisa Jane we run ballet classes in Hampshire from age three upwards with the classes focussed on quality and enjoyment. Ballet is the basic foundation for most forms of dance and the skills acquired in ballet translate to values that can be used in all other dance disciplines.

Whilst exams are not compulsory, our pupils are offered the opportunity to take RAD examinations throughout the academic year. We have an amazing history of great results, of which we are very proud.

An RAD Examiner teaches at the school and provides the kind of insight, knowledge and expertise few other schools can call upon. It also allows the Lisa Jane School of Dance to be at the forefront of any changes to the RAD syllabus.
